What happens in the trial lesson?
An hour with the tutor we think fits, free and with no card details. They work through a section of a past paper, find where the marks are going, and tell you plainly what they would do over the next term.
How do you match a tutor?
By subject, exam board and year group first, then by temperament — some students need patience, others need pace. If the fit is wrong after two lessons we move them and you do not pay for the second.
Do you teach online as well as in person?
Both, at the same rate. Online lessons run on a shared whiteboard and last the same hour, with the same notes home afterwards. Most local students come to the centre; families further out usually go online.
Which exam boards do you cover?
All the main GCSE and A level boards. Tell us which one the school uses and the tutor teaches to that specification, its past papers and its mark schemes — not a generic syllabus.
Can you guarantee a grade?
No, and we would be wary of anyone who does. What we can show you is the mark scheme, the gaps and the work that closes them. Most students who stay a full year move up at least one grade.
